The building is actually named for Dave's dad, Chancellor Emeritus, Dr. James H. McCormick. Chancellor McCormick began his tenure when he was selected by the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to be their Chancellor on July 1, 1983, a position he held for nearly 20 years. For the 10 years before that, Chancellor McCormick had been the President of Bloomsburg University. His son Dave, the Senator, grew up on Bloomburg's campus in the President's home, which was only a few 100 yards away from the McCormick Building that was just dedicated. So much for the Democrats lies, and the millions they spent on attack ads saying that Dave is not from Pennsylvania. You can't make this stuff up! This week's Show will be a two-part special with Part 1 covering the dedication ceremony, where the Host interviewed the proud Senator and his father, the Chancellor.
