The Democrats have taken the posture that the resolution should have $1.5 Trillion of NEW additional spending for things like subsidizing Blue States Medicaid programs, which they have been packing with illegal migrants' free health care; and reversing the scheduled end to the temporary subsidies added to the Affordable Care Act to provide relief during Covid-19, which is scheduled to end since COVID is over. That subsidy provided federal tax credits for many people who earn salaries over a quarter of million dollars a year and don't need help with their healthcare costs. The stalled resolution has failed numerous votes in the Senate where 60 votes are needed. Since the Dems cannot do anything by normal legislative process, they are holding America hostage.
