DERS SUN/ OUNDED NT'S 2019 - 2019 PRESIDENT'S MEDAL RECIP1ENT- EUGENE ROTH, Esq. '57 Wilkes University will proudly present its esteemed President's Medal to our treasured friend and longtime supporter Eugene Roth, Esq. at the 2019 Founders Gala. Mr. Roth has been a member of the Wilkes University Board of Trustes since 1979, serving as chair from 1993 to 1998 and helping to establish the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. A first- generation college student, he closely identifies with Wilkes University's mission to provide educational opportunities to all who show potential. His philanthropy is apparent across campus, especially in Lawrence W Roth Hall, a standout residence for first-year students. The family also established the Lawrence W. Roth Memorial Scholarship in memory of their beloved son. Mr. Roth received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wilkes Ancestral Colonels and the Eugene S. Farley Memorial Alumni Award. He is also a long-time member of the prestigious John Wilkes Society. His vision, leadership and contributions have been vital and true to the values of Wilkes University, and as such he is a deserving recipient of the 2019 Presidents Medal. MR.
