MELBERGER Wilkes University will proudly present its esteemed President's Medal to longtime supporters and dear friends Ruth Boorom 62 and Clifford K. Melberger at the 2022 Founders Gala. Numerous students have benefited from the Ruth Boorom Melberger '62 Scholarship, honoring this art major and retired teacher who served school districts in West Pittston and Harrisburg. The Melberger Courtyard in Stark Learning Center bears their name in recognition of all the ways they continue to support Wilkes students. As the pandemic intensified in 2020, the Melbergers made an extraordinary unrestricted gift to address critical needs facing Wilkes and its students. Cliff Melberger founded Diversified Information Technologies, now EDM Americas, a national and international data and document information management company. He is also owner, founder and chairman of GreenSpace Properties LLC, a real estate management and development company. He served on the Wilkes University Board of Trustees from 1990 to 2007. The Melbergers' vital leadership furthers our mission and exemplifies our values, making them deserving recipients of Wilkes University's 2022 President's Medal.
