* KING'S Y COLLEGE TRANSFORMATION. COMMUNITY. HOLY CROSS. Director of Counseling King's College is currently seeking a Director for our Student Counseling Center. This position oversees a center where students may discuss personal issues affecting their academic performance, personal lives, or career choices, and where faculty and staff may consult regarding psychological problems with students; represent the College in psychological matters (to parents and other invested persons). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating programs and activities, preparing, and monitoring an annual budget, providing individual and group counseling, overseeing the counseling center staff. The individual will ensure that the center complies with Federal and Commonwealth law, College policy, and professional standards (FERPA/Student Records, Title IX, Child Protection). A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or closely related field is required. NBCC or APA Certification preferred. King's College is a private, Catholic, teaching college of the liberal arts & sciences and professional programs sponsored by the Congregation of the Holy Cross.
