A shout out from our patients this Nurses Week People are always telling us what a huge difference our nurses make. And since National Nurses Week is May 6-12, it's the perfect time to share the praise - in their own words. She was like a breath of fresh air. She made us feel like a friend & I never doubted the care my husband got when she was around. He floored me with his knowledge, professionalism, compassion, care and respect for my wife. He is phenomenal! I required certain things be done when entering my room due to my PTSD & medical issues. Each one of my nurses took great care in my accommodations. Each one of them thanked me for my military service. I was treated with such respect and honor. That meant more to me than I have words for. She engaged in interesting conversation that kept my mind off my nerves. At the same time, she completed her job. I felt very secure. I was thankful to have a person like her taking care of me. Thank you to all our nurses this National Nurses Week (and every week). Your great work doesn't go unnoticed.
