PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Wilkes-Barre will extend the comment period in regard the proposed amendment to the 2018 Office of Economic and Community Development Action Plan and Budget. The public hearing that was held on December 20, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, Wilkes-Barre City Hall, 40 East Market Street, PA The purpose of the hearing was To solicit Citizens input regarding a proposed amendment to the 2018 action plan. Add Ladder Truck and a KME Fire Engine to the 2018 budget and action plan. The remaining program income balance from the CDBG revolving Loan Fund would be used towards the purchase of a ladder truck and/or fire truc Add 1-2 housing units. To solicit Citizens input regarding the Annual Action Plan for year 2019 To review progress as required by the City's Consolidated Plan covering the following programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) PUBLIC COMMENTS Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments to the Office of Economic & Community Development. All comments received by March 21, 2019 will be considered by the City of Wilkes-Barre prior to authorizing submission of such requests to Hud Wilkes-Barre City Hall is a facility accessible to persons with disabilities.
