Wiliams is in the preliminary stages of developing an expansion of its existing Transco natural gas pipeline, allowing Pennsylvania gas producers to further connect robust supplies of natural gas in northem and western Pennsylvania with growing demand centers along the Atlantic Seaboard in time for the 2023-24 winter heating season. The project would expand the Transco pipeline's takeaway capacity by 760,000 dekatherms per day - enough natural gas to meet the daily needs of approximately 3 milion homes. The proposal is currently in the planning phase. Williams is seeking early input from citizens, govemment entities and other interested parties to identity and address potential siting issues.
