The Insalaco Family has been known as established entrepreneurs since the Insalaco brothers (Michael, Sandy, Leonard, and Vince) founded Insalaco’s Supermarkets in 1947. This grocery store operation expanded over 14 locations, employed 1,500 employees, and was in business for over 45 years until it was sold in 1993. When their grocery-store empire was still rapidly expanding, the Insalaco family found an interest in real estate and launched Insalaco Development Group in 1972 to expand its business portfolio and provide real estate services to the area. This decision ultimately changed the fate of the family’s business focus through today.
As of 2022, Insalaco Development Group possesses over 100 years of real estate experience in property management, investment, and development. This expertise, coupled with extensive training, qualifies Insalaco Development Group’s associates to handle a diverse collection of real estate needs. Insalaco Development Group’s portfolio includes retail strip centers, grocery-store anchored shopping centers, medical facilities, office buildings, and industrial locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
