ASSISTANT INSPECTOR AND ASSISTANT OPERATOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE The Mountaintop Area Joint Sanitary Authority is seeking applications for Assistant Inspector and Assistant Operator. The Assistant Operator will work along with and take direction from the Chief Operator to operate, inspect, maintain, and repair various components of the Authority's wastewater treatment plant. The Assistant Inspector is responsible during and after work hours to inspect, maintain, and repair various components of the wastewater collection system including sewer pipelines, force mains and pump stations including customer grinder pumps for the Authority. A wastewater operator's license is preferred for each position but not required. However, successful applicants who do not have a license will have to obtain a license as condition of employment. Salary is accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
