Thank you! weis markets We wanted to thank the West Hazleton Fire Department, led by Chief Richard Sparks, and the more than 100 firefighters who responded to the fire at our West Hazleton store on December 6 and helped safely evacuate 30 customers and Weis associates on that cold, windy night. While our Hazleton store is temporarily closed, our team has been busy. We've reopened our Weis Gas N' Go fuel center and will soon reopen our pharmacy in a temporary location. In addition, we are reassigning our Hazleton store's 191 full-and part-time associates to one of our five locations in the area. In the days ahead, we will determine the extent of the damage and develop a plan and timeline for repairing and reopening our store.
