Lucas Farms is a third-generation family farm founded, in 1890, by John and Catherine Lucas, in Town Hill, Pennsylvania. On their hundred-acre farm, John and Catherine were self-sufficient, making their own soap, as well as, relying on a smokehouse for their meat. John and his brother, Mike, used horses to pull their plows and till the land allowing them to grow a variety of vegetables.
