The Blessed Virgin Mary is honored under many titles. One if the most unusual, yet lovely, titles in that of Our Lady of the Snows. The feast of Our Lady under the special title is celebrated throughout the world on August 5th. On that in the year 352 A. D. in the middle of the hot Roman summer, it snowed in just one place in Rome - on the Esquiline Hill.
