FOODS, a stable and successful food distribution organization, is recruiting for FLEET MECHANIC ASSOCIATE Mechanic will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the fleet road equipment induding tractor, trailer and maintenance vehicles. Trailer refrigeration experience a plus. Mechanics will also be responsible for the completion, documentation, and to keep current maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily. The position will also be required to perform road rescue and service as needed. Essential Job Functions: Perform Preventative Maintenance within Company Standards, Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM and parts used using a PC based maintenance system. Maintain a clean safe working environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations. Requirements: Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations as pertaining to shop and fleet. Ability to read and interpret schematics and flow charts. Must be able to read and understand technical manuals and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
